Our Goal
ToolChemy publishes free tools and practical guides that are meant to help users complete a task quickly, understand the tradeoffs of a workflow, and avoid low-quality or unsafe experiences.
How We Review Tool Pages
For browser-based tools, we review the live functionality of the page itself, the clarity of the inputs and outputs, mobile usability, and whether the surrounding content accurately explains what the tool does.
For comparison guides and converter pages, we focus on workflow clarity, feature coverage, safety considerations, output quality expectations, and obvious user-friction points such as aggressive ads, misleading downloads, or unclear limitations.
How We Handle Time-Sensitive Content
Some pages depend on figures or policies that change over time, such as tax brackets, deduction amounts, contribution limits, or the current availability of third-party tools. We update those pages when the underlying information changes and show a visible review date when a page has been refreshed.
Sources and Verification
When a page includes time-sensitive financial, legal, or policy information, we aim to verify it against primary sources or official documentation. For broader how-to and comparison content, we cross-check the claims on the page against the current workflow and revise the copy when it drifts from reality.
Corrections and Updates
If we find a material error, we correct the page and update its review date. If you notice inaccurate information, outdated screenshots, or a broken workflow, contact us and include the page URL plus the issue you found.
AI and Automation
We may use AI-assisted drafting and internal automation to help with research, outlines, and maintenance tasks, but pages are expected to be reviewed and edited before publication or substantive updates. We do not intentionally publish automated filler content designed only to target keywords.
Advertising and Monetization
ToolChemy displays advertising to support the free operation of the site. Ads do not determine our editorial conclusions, and the presence of a tool or service on the site should not be read as a sponsorship or endorsement.
Privacy and Processing Disclosures
Many ToolChemy tools run locally in the browser, but some converter requests rely on serverless endpoints and third-party processing providers. Where that matters to the user, we aim to explain it clearly in the page content and in our policies.
