ToolChemy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website toolchemy.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
Information We Collect
ToolChemy is designed to minimize the information we collect. Many of our tools - including calculators, color pickers, and browser-based text-to-speech pages - process inputs locally in your browser. Some converter features use our serverless API and third-party processing providers to complete a request. We do not require you to create an account or submit profile information to use the Site.
Data Processed Locally
When you use calculators, color pickers, and browser-based text-to-speech tools, calculations, color analysis, and speech synthesis happen on your device using your browser's built-in capabilities. Inputs for those tools are not transmitted to our servers just to make the feature work.
Converter Requests
When you use converter features on supported pages, the URL or other request data you submit is sent to our serverless endpoint and then to the third-party processing provider needed to fulfill the request. We use that request data only to process and return the requested result, and we do not require an account to do so.
Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement IDs: G-5VBD9G027W and G-M9ZJG91YNG) to understand how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referral source (how you arrived at the Site)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level, not precise location)
- Screen resolution and viewport size
This data is aggregated and anonymized. We use it solely to improve our tools and understand which features are most useful. Google Analytics data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising Data
We display advertisements on our Site through Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Adsterra and its partners may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited on our Site
- Advertising identifiers
This data is collected and processed by Adsterra in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
